I drew a picture. It’s been a while! A taste of things to come or the freehand drawing of a pending lunatic?
Today I remembered how to animate and composite.
Concept image for a videogame side project, the book of lif Action RPG.
The idea is to have the characters thoughts appear at the bottom of the screen, but also to have narration in the style of an interactive storybook.
Here’s an original character design for glie. I dropped the hat in subsquent designs because I was never really sure about how I wanted it to look.
The design has stayed pretty much the same throughout, save for a few recolorations.
Sometimes I need to draw without thinking. I listened to Lull, and here we have conceptualised imagery.
Been slow this week… super busy with civic duties and whatnot! But now, i’m back. Animated some of the pilot episode for cesl and glie, and drew this picture when i was messing around with background techniques.
We’ll get there eventually!

This is Cherry - she looks after space cat! Space cat just ignores her though. He’s super annoying, but adorable. Just like real kittens.
Because you need one in your life.
